Rosemary
Clark-Parsons, PhD

Hi! I'm Rosemary.

Everyone calls me Rosie, and you can, too. I am a Program Manager at the Center for Social Impact Strategy (CSIS) and part-time faculty at the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania. Before joining CSIS, I was the Associate Director of the
Center on Digital Culture and Society at the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School for Communication. I hold a PhD in communication from the Annenberg School and I research and teach topics related to gender, media, activism, and social change. In addition to my work at CSIS, I am currently writing a book on how digital media users have reconfigured the face and reach of feminism in the United States (Fall 2021, U. of California Press). I also advise mission-driven organizations on effective communication strategies, provide research services for social justice initiatives, and facilitate workshops for activist organizations. Here, you'll find information about my current projects and ways to connect with me.
